WHAT RENTALS DOES CANYON BOAT RENTALS OFFER?

We rent top of the line surf boats and personal watercraft like Jet skies'. We also offer add on rentals like wakeboards, wakesurf boards, Stand up Paddle boards, tubes, additional tow ropes and more. You can conveniently add these to your Boat, Surf boat or jet ski reservation.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY RESERVATION?

Our rentals come with the exact number of lifejackets as is allotted by the maximum capacity of each watercraft.

Boats: Map of Lake Powell, anchor, dock ropes, orange caution flags, surf rope, wakeboard rope, bumpers, emergency first aid kit, fire extinguisher, electric tube air pump.
Jet Skis: Map of Lake Powell, rope, and fire extinguisher
Paddleboards: Our world class Sol Paddleboards will come deflated and include a paddle, life jacket, leash, two way manual air pump for inflation. Please check out our three models single, double and the party Paddleboard.

WHAT ARE CANYON BOAT RENTALS RATES?

Our rental prices can vary by type of surf boat and jet ski and length of the rental. All rental prices can be found under our RENTALS tab.

WHAT ARE THE RENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR WAKELIFE SURF BOATS AND WATERCRAFT?

We do not require any boating certification to operate one of our rentals however we do require the boating operator have some boating experience prior to renting. Our minimum age to rent one of our Surf Boats is 25, and 19 for our Jet Skies.
Please bring a valid ID such as a drivers license, passport, military ID, etc., that matches the credit card used for the booking.
A National Parks Pass to enter Lake Powell which is in the Glen Canyon National Recreation area. This pass can be purchased at the fee booths for $30 and allows access to the area for 7 days. if you have already purchased an annual park pass or you rental days fall within the 7 day period of a already purchased National Park Pass then those will get you in Lake Powell at no additional cost.
All Boat, Surf Boat and Jet ski operators must sign our lability waiver.
All rentals will meet for a walk around and a training orientation on the launch ramp to familiarize you with the Boat, Surf Boat or Jet Ski you rented. Please allow 15 minutes for a jet ski orientation and 30-45 minutes for a Boat and Surf boat orientation.
Canyon Boat Rentals reserves the right to cancel if operators are not qualified to operate our vessels. Prior boating experience is necessary.

WHAT IS THE DURATION RENTAL FOR CANYON BOAT RENTALS?

As long as you want! First come, first served on any of our rental products. We offer single and multi day rentals, however no half day pricing is permitted. Please book as soon as possible as our schedule fills up quickly.
Our earliest drop off is at 8:00am and all rentals are to be returned to the boat ramp by 5:30pm Arizona Time.

HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

To check a surf boats availability and to book your trip go to the rentals tab. You can also call or email us and we are always happy to help you set up your TRIP!

All bookings require your name, length of your rental, surf boat or watercraft type, and a security deposit. Before operations are allowed a rental liability waiver must be signed and approved by the staff.

HOW LONG IS A RENTAL DAY?

Our rentals begin at 8am and are to be back at the boat ramp for pick up by 5:30pm.

Early pick ups are considered on a case by case basis and may have an additional charge.

Due to the recent ramp closures caused by the low water levels please allow for additional launching wait times and a orientation/training. We will get you on the lake as soon as possible but with minimal ramps open there may be lines.

WHERE IS CANYON BOAT RENTALS LOCATED AND WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?

We are located in the city of Page, located a short drive away from Lake Powell. 910 Coppermine Rd Page, AZ 86040. We are open daily from 8 am to 6 pm.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Do to the nature of rentals we only accept credit cards.

No cash or checks are accepted as payment form of payment for a rental. Our retail shop however accepts all forms of payments except checks.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

Yes we do. Please call or email our office to get yours today.

WHAT ELSE DO WE OFFER?

We have a full retail shop located at 910 Coppermine Rd. Page, AZ 86040 where you can find all your boating needs!

We also sell t-shirts, hats, sunglasses, souvenirs, sunscreen, snacks, drinks and much more!

WHAT IS CANYON BOAT RENTAL'S DAMAGE POLICY?

Our damage deposit for boats: $1,000 and $2000.00 for Surf Boats and $800.00 for Jet Skies (PWC).
If rentals are returned our with dings/dents/scratches/ripped upholstery/ bent propeller, etc., that would not occur from normal use, we will charge your credit card and security deposit whatever it costs us to have the equipment repaired.
Additionally, if the surf boat or jet ski needs to be taken in for repairs, due to the "out of normal" "wear and tear" damage that occurred during the rental period, you will be charged the day rate for the damaged watercraft each day until we are able to put it back in use.
We do not enjoy downtime anymore than you would. It is in our best interest to keep and have all our watercraft and equipment on the water as soon as possible. We have great vendors and mechanics that can work quickly and efficiently to repair any damages.

WHAT ABOUT FUELING THE BOATS?

Surf Boat and Jet Ski rentals will come with a full gas tank. After we pick up your rental we will go and refuel the boat and whatever the cost of refueling the boat was will be charged to the card on file or deducted from the security deposit.

No additional fees or fuel surcharges are added to this cost. But rates can fluctuate with fuel prices.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

We reserve the right to cancel any rental at check in or prior to check-in time due to weather concerns at our discretion.

Cancellations will either be rebooked for a different day or fully refunded.

Watercraft(s) that are already on the water when the weather changes will not be refunded.

Your safety is always our number one concern and we understand there is a difference between less than ideal weather and dangerous conditions.

HOW DO I GET MY RENTALS FROM WAKE LIFE BOAT RENTALS TO LAKE POWELL?

We offer FREE services for launch and retrievals. This is a huge savings as you can tell from looking at any other company in town will charge you $100+.

We will schedule your drop off and pick up times with you. If you have an early day and want to come in just give us a call and about 30 minutes notice and we'll come pick you up.

WHAT DO I DO IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?

Call 911 or use an emergency channel if its life threatening or an injury. Please also call our office at (928) 231-4336.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BOAT BREAKS DOWN?

We take immaculate care of each of our watercraft and maintain and check them by certified mechanics regularly. We can’t predict everything that's going to happen. Mechanical failures do happen occasionally and are dealt with on a case by case basis.

If it is a breakdown due to normal mechanical wear and tear, you will be issue a refund for the time remaining on your rental along with any additional costs in having to have the boat towed in as a result of the failure. We may also offer you a replacement boat if one is available.

If the mechanical failure is found to be caused by the operators carelessness or inexperience causing the breakdown and damage, the renter will be held responsible for the full rental, cost accrued having the boat towed in and cost to fix mechanical failure, along with down time if applicable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I RETURN THE WATERCRAFT LATE?

We do give you an extra 15 minute forgiveness period on your return. If you are later than 15 minutes we will charge you $60 per hour or $1 per minute until the boat is returned.

HOW DOES THE SECURITY DEPOSIT WORK?

The security deposit is$1,000 for boats and $2,000 for each Surf boat and $800 for each jet ski. Security deposits help cover renter/ operator caused damages or accidents that occur during a rental reservation, such as broken parts, interior damages, missing equipment, dents, dings, scratches, etc.

At the time of the booking, an authorized hold will be applied on the credit or debit card provided in the booking. These funds will temporarily not be available for your use, the authorization hold will be released when the equipment is returned in the same conditioned as you received it in. The time it takes to release this additional authorization depends on your bank and credit card provider and is beyond the control of Canyon Boat Rentals.

CANCELLATION POLICY?

If Canyon Boat Rentals cancels for inclement weather, safety concerns or prior equipment repairs there will be a 100% refund.

No refund for cancellations within 48 hours.
Bookings will receive a 10% refund if booking is canceled 3-7 days prior to departure date.
Bookings will receive a 30% refund if booking is canceled within 8-14 days prior to departure date.
Bookings will receive a 75% refund if booking is canceled 15 days or more prior to departure date.
All bookings are subject to a 25% booking fee that's nonrefundable.

Rescheduling is **FREE** up to 72 hours before the departure date.

If rescheduling within the 72 hour period the rental is subject to 25% rebooking fee.
